Long beard mods? - posted in Skyrim Mod Talk: Its Khord mod but to make sure it must be edited and tweaked in TES5edit for making it playable. I saw this video in Skyrim 200+ Mods Nord Playthrough Part 8, this man with long beard? I dont know what it is but I want my nord guy to have long beard so badly! I dont know what new long beard mod looks like. This would be appreciated. LONG NORDIC BEARDS! - posted in Skyrim Mod Requests: Can someone please create a new beards mod just for longer style beards. Some vanilla looking stuff and some nordic looking beards, dreaded, platted etc (like the ESO nord hero) would be amazing and much needed, by a lot of people by the looks of it. Also as a Xbox user, PORT TO CONSOLE and make it console friendly, or Xbone friendly at least. Its an awesome Mod. Its so subtle, you look at your character after a few days of adventure and its like BAM I have a big beard. In the latest update he has added Follower support, yep.your.

One of the things that definitely hasn’t aged quite well in Skyrim is the way characters look.
It sometimes feels like both men and women could look far more shallow than they do now, which would make the Skyrim experience much easier on the eyes.
- Falskaar should be included in any top list of quest mods. This gargantuan DLC sized mod brings a fully voiced 30+ hour adventure in a completely new land. It’s less focused on adding things like spells, weapons, and armor but brings awesome, high-quality quests for both its main story and the side content. A definite must for any Skyrim player.
- Truly beautiful eyes for your Skyrim characters – these are more “natural” and they have over a hundred options! HN66s Long Lashes. A must-have for your female characters to have lush, full eyelashes. Trust me, it makes a huge difference in screenshots. A must-have for your male characters to have lush, full beards.
In any case, a layer of realism seems to be missing. Which even shows in the presets that you see when you’re first creating your character.
There are countless mods that improve character appearance and make them look like real humans, which makes the game surprisingly better than it already is.
I’ve refrained from adding mods that improve beauty in erotic-packed ways, but I have added one or two mods that do a great job in improving the bodies of characters in the game. Which is always great whether you’re looking for a handsome husband or a gorgeous wife.
20. CharGen Extension
Even though this mod has been already discontinued as it is included in a different package, the standalone version still deserves a place on this list because of how awesome it is (and how good of a tool it also is for modders).
This mod allows you to edit characters better than ever before whenever you visit the character creation menu (even if you trigger it via commands).
19. Superior Lore-Friendly Hair(HD Textures)
Let’s face it – hair in Skyrim just doesn’t look good.
There’s something really off about the way textures seem to work, as it would appear like hair is only one texture on its own and it doesn’t really feel like you could see each individual hair when walking around.
This mod was carefully crafted to make it so every single hairstyle in the game looks much better, which helps Skyrim feel more natural as well. Haircare is very important, after all.
18. Freckle Mania 2
I know – you didn’t know that you wanted freckles in Skyrim before you saw this mod.
Don’t worry, I didn’t know it either!
This mod showed me just how amazing freckles can look and how much natural redhead characters look with such a mod installed.
The mod adds freckles overlays to the characters in the game and it works well for characters that have freckles on their entire bodies.
Just like the CharGen Extension, however, it does require you to have the RaceMenu mod installed to make everything run smoothly.
17. Actually Attractive Elves
Elves are usually known as the most beautiful creatures in most fantasy worlds.
In fact it’s almost unfathomable to think that female elf could be ugly simply because legends say how most elven women are most beautiful creatures in the land.
Sadly this doesn’t seem to be the case in Skyrim.
Some Elves are just plain ugly and they don’t serve the purpose of their history quite well.
Thankfully this mod aims to correct that with an overhaul to the way all elves look.
You’ll notice how Elven women will become 10 times more attractive when creating a new character. This will give you enough defaults to create the female elf of your dreams.
16. KS Hairdos Renewal
Have you ever felt like the base Skyrim hairstyle are quite bland?
Me too, which is why I specifically looked for a mod that corrects this issue.
This mod adds over 600 new hairstyles for women and a little less than 100 hairstyles for men, making it one of the most complete packs of hairstyle that you’ll find on the Nexus.
Options are aplenty when creating a character after this mod is installed.
15. The Eyes of Beauty
Much like the issue with hairstyles, The Eyes of Beauty aims to correct the blandness which you can feel whenever you look any character into their eyes.
It really makes no sense that all eyes are so similar.
It feels like the entire world of Skyrim is lacking in variety. This mod adds many new colors and types of eye shapes to the game, which makes everything look as good as you can imagine(or even better!)
14. KJ Tattoos
Combining this mod with a better body mod would make Skyrim feel a hundred time more realistic.
Come to think of it, it really makes no sense that Nordic warriors only have a couple of types of face paint to choose from to create their traditional markings.
This mod allows your character to be fully tattooed thanks to the meshes that it adds and modifies in the game files.
13. Female Hairstyles with Physics
The days of watching your female character move around with what appears to be a plastic wig on her head are over.
This adds a ton of new hairstyles to the game. All of which are fully animated and move around as your character walks or runs.
It makes women look much better to the eye, and the game feels more natural as a consequence of it!
12. Seductive Lips HD
The maker of this mod has truly put a lot of effort into making the lips of women in Skyrim look like the actual lips of a woman.
As you might’ve noticed before, there really aren’t any significant differences between the lips of a woman and the lips of a man. Except perhaps a bit of shape.
This mod overhauls the way women’s lips look making the game much more akin to reality and helping you get even more immersed with female characters in Tamriel.
And trust me, some of them have some juicy lips.
11. Eyes of Aber
You know what? Not everything needs to be about realism with these beauty mods.
In fact, I’ve been very attached to realism so far and I’ve avoided some pretty exaggerated mods to keep things as natural as possible.
However it wouldn’t be fair to exclude the Eyes of Aber mod from this list.
The work that was put into making these eyes as beautiful as possible is tremendous, and you’re probably going to really enjoy something like this.
It’s a mod that will truly give a unique look to any character to which you want to apply these to.
10. Northborn Scars
How awesome would it be for some characters to have giant scars running across their bodies?
It seems like something Bethesda shouldn’t have overlooked when they first created Skyrim, as it would make sense for people in a land where everything attacks you to be as scared as they get.
Thankfully modders haven’t overlooked this and the Northborn Scars mod is the best out of all mods that add scars to the game.
This will replace all of the scars that come with the vanilla game and add a bunch more detailed ones that look miles better than the originals. The danger is real folks.
9. Better Vampire Fangs & Eyes
There’s nothing scarier than a vampire. Well, at least, that’s what some people think.
However this is far from what Skyrim often reflects.
Vampires in the game just don’t look realistic enough, and the main culprit of it has to be their fangs.
They just look so underwhelming in the game that it makes it almost impossible to get immersed in the fun.
With this mod you’ll be able to speak to vampires and instantly feel fear strike deep inside you.
With this mod you’ll be able to speak to vampires and instantly feel fear strike deep inside you.
Their fangs will be way more noticeable and vampires will look better as a consequence of it.
8. WICO – Windsong Immersive Character Overhaul
Things are getting serious now and you’ll notice how the quality of mods from now on seems to skyrocket.
The Windsong Immersive Character Overhaul is literally an overhaul to most characters in the game, which includes those that come with the DLCs.
This makes everything look far better than it does in the base game.
It truly does justice to the reputation of Skyrim and makes things more realistic than you’ve ever seen them.
This is one of the most complete retextures that I’ve ever come across.
This is one of the most complete retextures that I’ve ever come across.
If you like things that look vanilla while also completing what’s missing then this mod is exactly what you need.
7. Brows
HD facial hair makes things look far more realistic than they would with regular facial hair, and eyebrows aren’t an exception to this.
In fact, you could keep the vanilla body textures and simply add this amazing Brows mod and people would instantly look far better than they do in the base game.
This one and the Beards mod are must-haves if you want to immerse yourself and have the most realistic of characters possible.
6. Beards
This adds a majestic variety of detailed beards into the game and, as said in the last mod, it’s a must-have.
Especially if you want proper male characters wandering around.
This Beards mod is made by the same person that made the Brows mod, which doesn’t only make them compatible on paper but they also look very similar in the game.
This just adds a new level of beauty and immersion to your characters. And those who feel the need to have the most realistic males out there definitely need to give both of these a try.
5. Total Character Makeover
Okay, okay. This one isn’t really one mod.
However I feel like it’s important to include it as it compiles the best mods ever created for Skyrim in terms of character looks.
The Total Character Makeover is a mod compilation which helps you install some of the best mods ever created in one simple pack.
Most mods that are included here have already been reviewed on this list, and they all work incredibly well together as proven by TCM.
4. Enhanced Character Edit
This mod serves as a way to help you edit characters in a much more natural and realistic manner than what the base game allows.
This adds a ton of new different sliders, modifying different parts of bodies and making characters look even better if you put in a bit of effort to create them.
Pretty cool!
3. Skyrim Glowing Eyes
This is definitely a fan favorite when it comes to eye mods in Skyrim.
Even though the mod isn’t being updated anymore, it’s one of the finest eye mods in the Nexus community and one of the most downloaded beauty mods of Skyrim that you can find online.
Skyrim Glowing Eyes adds a selection of eyes that glow in the dark, which adds some more depth to the game and makes characters either frightening or gorgeous at night.
2. ApachiiSkyHair
This is another great mod for those who feel like the base game is lacking hairstyles.
It doesn’t only add cool new hairstyles for humans, it also makes Orcs and Elves able to select new types of hairs when creating a character of those races.
You might notice how some of these styles look familiar if you’ve played The Sims, The Witcher or even Oblivion.
Most of the hairstyles added with this mod are conversions from styles that were present in other games! Go figure.
1. Caliente’s Beautiful Bodies Edition
Okay, this is the one NSFW mod that I had to include here.
Honestly it would not make sense to let this one slip given how detailed it is.
It adds naked textures to both males and females in the game. It also makes both types of bodies fully customizable by adding new sliders which you can easily tweak as you please.
This mod basically allows you to create realistic, custom bodies going as far as your heart desires.
It puts the game on a whole other level and if you don’t mind a bit of NSFW stuff mixed in here then it would be a no-brainer to try this out.

Alright I’m really going to try to find some amazing lore-friendly hair mods for Skyrim, but bear in mind that I might stretch the definition of “lore-friendly” just a bit.For the sake of adding some of the coolest mods on this list.
I mean technically speaking, every single type of hair can be lore-friendly – especially because some slimy creature fluid might serve as gel.
But I digress. I’ve decided to make this list to help you get a better selection of hairstyles so you can add them to your character in the game.
I really hope you find this list useful because I had to go through a lot of non-related content to find these rad hair mods (try looking for hair mods and avoid adult-related mods – I challenge you).
Now some of these mods are actually quite well-done and I was very surprised by how well some of these manage to get the feeling of how Skyrim hair should look. Others have a different feeling, but like I said, everything is lore-friendly if your character is enough of a nutjob.
Necessary disclaimer:
Before I go on, please bear in mind that there are a LOT of thirsty modders out there, if you know what I mean.
Before I go on, please bear in mind that there are a LOT of thirsty modders out there, if you know what I mean.
The number of mods that are specifically directed to modifying female characters is astonishing to say the least, as modders aim to make their characters look sexier because of reasons. So there will be a lot more female-oriented hairdos in here than male-oriented ones.
Trust me, if you want to keep your innocence be careful where you look for mods in the Nexus. Or you can go there if you like –not here to judge you or your thirst. Now moving on to the list!
20. Better Female Eyebrows
Alright let’s start with some basic eyebrow mod.
Better Female Eyebrows makes a great addition to the game by adding a bunch of new eyebrow styles to female characters in the most lore-friendly manner possible.
They all look quite realistic, although some might seem a bit modern.
It’s still very likely for Skyrim characters to have eyebrows like these. None of them look out of place, so there’s that!
19. Horns are Forever
Argonians are people too, reader.
Horns are Forever is a mod that makes the Argonian spikes go through the texture of most hoods, which makes you able to look at those fantastic horns regardless of what you wear.
I’m adding this mod to the list because I’m a hardcore Argonian player, and I found it pretty useful. It’s mildly related as well, and I know some of you will love it!
18. Vanilla Hair Variety Plus
A simple mod that adds 4 new hairstyles for males as well as 4 new hairstyles for females.
All of them look very much like vanilla hairstyles and they fit any character in the game quite well.
I love how the creator of this mod says he thinks “it’s a bit lore-friendly” when in reality this mod is far more lore-friendly than most of those that claim to be.
In any case, the hairstyles look quite natural and they suit the game perfectly.
They aren’t imported from other games but manually made, which means that this one brings you quality above quantity in every sense of the word.
17. Better Vanilla Hairs
This mod replaces every single vanilla texture in the game to make every hair look, in the words of the creator, “less like broomsticks and more like actual hair”.
All of the hair in the game will instantly become much straighter and it’ll make everything have a better overall definition.
As far as improvements go, this is by far one of the best.
16. Combined Hairstyles Collection
The Combined Hairstyles Collection mod adds 39 new female hairstyles to the game, which quench the thirst of most players and enable female characters to look a bit more feminine (and depending on the style, some look more cartoonish as well).
As I said before, I don’t know what rocks your boat.
But this mod is surely going to make your female characters look a bit different without really losing the vanilla feel (for the most part).
15. My Type of Hair
My Type of Hair is a mod that changes most of the vanilla styles in the game and replaces them with better-looking ones, at least on the eyes of the maker.
I do think they look much better, though, so you might want to check them out yourself.
All of the hairstyles should look quite good with any female character in the game, as long as they’re humanlike of course.
In any event this mod makes quite a complex addition and changes a lot of the base files. You might want to make a backup of all game files before installing it.
14. Straight Hair Retexture
Now this mod makes quite a simple addition to the game, so I won’t be explaining it for too long.
It simply makes the hair texture look more natural and straighter.
As such, this mod won’t really add anything new to the game but it will make what’s in the game look much better on second glance.
I fully recommend it to anyone who cares about the little things in life.
13. HH Hairstyles
A small collection of 5 hairstyles (three of them being bob cuts plus two ponytails) that have fully animate hair.
Ideal for those players looking for an enhanced realistic experience.
The mod has a few minor issues with shading that I noticed, otherwise I would be ranking it at a much higher spot.
It’s still quite a cool mod and I’m sure you’ll enjoy tweaking your characters with it.
12. Lore Styles Hair Set
This mod might only add 7 new hairstyles to the game, but they are as lore-friendly as they come.
It’s surprisingly well-made and the hairstyles fit every female character fantastically.
And it doesn’t matter if you’re playing a warrior or a mage – there’s a hairstyle that’ll suit you, even when there are only seven of them.
Give them a try – the textures look quite cool!
11. Oblivion Hair Pack
If you’re after lore-friendliness, you won’t find anything more fitting than a set of hairstyles that came with TES IV: Oblivion (the best Elder Scrolls game ever made, fight me if you disagree).
Skyrim Long Beard Model
This mod is an improved version of the original one that the modder who created it released, as it makes the hair looks far better in-game than the first one.
And this mod will add over 50 new hairstyles for all of your characters, so you can get a much more varied aesthetic experience in Skyrim.
10. More Realistic Hair
Simple mod that changes the way hair looks in the game.
Skyrim Long Beard Mod 1.12.2
It makes hairstyles look more natural – even when they have a vibrant color.
It avoids colors such as yellow from making characters in the game look like clowns. Again, a simple mod but quite effective indeed.

9. The Hairstyler
Okay, I must admit that I’m adding this mod to the list because it’s absolutely hilarious what you can do with it.
It basically adds a spell to your list of castable wizardry that allows you to change the hairstyle of any character in the game.
Hours of fun await if you install The Hairstyler as long as you have the sense of humor of a toddler, much like I do. You won’t regret this – I promise.
8. Female Hairstyles with Physics
Five new hairstyles with physics plus an extra 8 with no physics to compliment them.
I have to admit that some of the movements on a few of these hairs look a bit clunky, but the creator of the mod put a lot of work into it and they do work as intended.
7. Ponytail Hairstyles
So you’re probably wondering why is this mod (that adds just 6 new hairstyles) so far up on the list?
Well, simply because they look good and they fit the theme of the game.
Ponytails will always be a delicate subject when it comes to lore-friendliness.
But as long as they are well-done, there’s no reason why a Skyrim character wouldn’t rock one of the beauties.
6. KS Hairdos – HDT Physics
Wait, don’t download this one yet!
The mod that took the second spot on my list has a complete collection of the KS Hairdos, but this one adds 75 of those hairs to the game with physics coded into them.
I would advise you to download the second mod first and then get this one installed on top of it.
However, you may also download this mod as a standalone version if you like. Whatever rocks your boat, friend. You’d be missing out on a massive collection of additional hairstyles without this!
5. Lovely Hairstyles
Ah, another thirsty mod to my list. The Lovely Hairstyles mod earns a good spot for itself thanks to the amazingly well-done textures that come with it.
Every single hairstyle in the mod feels unique. But most importantly, all of them feel like they belong to Skyrim.
As such, they are super lore-friendly.
Trust me, every single one of these hairstyles looks good on most female characters in the game.
4. Beards
Looking to try out a new look for your character’s face or simply trying out how facial hair would look on you because it doesn’t grow too well on you like it happens to me?
The Beards mod is the way to go! This mod changes all of the crappy base-game textures that come with every beard in the game to make them look much more HD.
Also this Beards mod adds new textures to beards that were in the game but you couldn’t access for some weird reason.
The mod also unlocks them, so you can play with Bethesda beards that you probably haven’t seen before unless you’ve come across one of those weirdly specific YouTube videos.
3. Brows
Brows are an essential part of the appearance of a character as well as they change the way a regular person looks.
However brows all look pretty much the same in Skyrim. Have you ever noticed that?
Even brows that look different are very similar.
Well this mod adds a metric ton of new brows to the game, which makes the faces of characters feel far more unique than they do in vanilla Skyrim.
It also changes all of the vanilla eyebrows to make them look far better. So not even those old things will look out of place alongside these new amazing additions!
2. KS Hairdos – Renewal
Looking for quality as well as quantity?
If so, then check the KS Hairdos Renewal mod. Holy crap.
This mod adds a total of 755 hairstyles to the game, most of which are exclusively for females (the thirst is real). They do look really good though, I have to admit.
Skyrim Long Beard Mod Apk
In any case, this mod does add a few hairstyles that might not seem fitting of Skyrim characters.
But they all look fantastically well-made and the textures are great. Give it a go!
1. Superior Lore-Friendly Hair – HD Textures
There’s no way in the seven hells that this mod isn’t taking the first spot on my list.
Skyrim Long Beard Mod 1.7.10
The Superior Lore-Friendly Hair mod makes every single texture look HD.
They are all made from scratch and manually, but do you know why this takes the first spot?
Because it replaces the vanilla hairstyles that the game comes with and modifies them to look much, much better.
If you’re looking for lore-friendly changes you can see this mod as a true hair overhaul.
Skyrim Mods Beards 2k
It’s absolutely fantastic in all regards and definitely one of the best if you’re looking to improve graphics through the entire game. Often times it’s the little things that matter most with modding.
